林文彥教授畢業於美國南加州大學，於2009年始任教於長庚大學電機工程學系。林教授之前在業界於嵌入式系統、積體電路設計與無線通訊系統整合方面已有十餘年之經驗。林教授目前除持續專注於醫療照護系統相關研究與開發方面，並積極參與校方多項計畫，包括：『仁寶電腦健康照護科技研發中心』(慣性運動感測與醫療照護應用團隊 主持人)、教育部 課程分流計畫『高階電路板實務人才培育』執行負責人、及籌備規劃中之學界科專價值創造計畫，等。
